DANCE TEAM AUDITIONS

The countdown to NCDA TEAM Auditions has begun! Mark your calendars

Saturday, MAY 18th, 2024!!! Check-in from 2pm-2:30pm. Audition to be a

part of the most well-rounded and accomplished competitive team in the area!!!

NCDMA instructors are here to mentor, motivate, and move your child in the

direction they wish to accomplish through the art of dance. Our program is the

leader in our area and the longest running program in the Delaware. The NCDMA

Team is extremely accomplished as the Director, Heather Meginniss, is a pioneer

in the dance industry with an extensive background in the competitive circuit. She

has Judged and is now a Regional Director for the World’s Largest Competition,

Star Dance Alliance. Heather’s credential’s ensures growth for your child no

matter what level dancer.

Audition to be on one of our amazing teams!!

Requirements 

*Two years of dance training

*Dancers ages 8 and up have a 30 second audition dance prepared. Must bring

music and have it queued.

*ESSAY Required

> “Why you would like to be a part of the NCDA COMPETITION TEAM”. (8-11)

> “How your passion for dance influences you in other areas of your life and how

are you going to bring positive energy and a winning attitude to the team this

season?”. (12 and over)

*PROPER ATTIRE REQUIRED! Bring all dance shoes. You will not be allowed

to audition if you are unprepared.

**BRING Headshot and Resume 5x7 or 8x10 photo, resume (google dance

resume) type 12 times new roman, no folders. Staple resume on the back of

the headshot.,

Schedule

2:30-3:00pm- Check-in to get bands & Number (Register online

3:00-3:30 Ages 4-7 Group Audition 

3:30-4:30 Ages 8-11 Groups Audition

4:30-5:30 Ages 12 and up

5:30pm- 7:00pm Individual Auditions Begin

Dancers in the 8-11 category MAY be asked to stay, this will be determined by the

day of auditions.

*Additional Information will be handed out the day of the audition.
