Mommy and me (18 months-2 years) Student Placement Policies
Students are placed in an age-appropriate class with respect to physical development, individual potential and proficiency by the director with the student's best interest in mind. Students are stimulated to advanced as they are technically able to do so, and are instructed of their strengths and weaknesses in a balanced manner. Attendance
Regular attendance is essential for progress. The school is not responsible for absences. You must call and notify the school when a student is absent. Make-up classes can be arranged at that time, or call before attending the make-up class. Please keep these to a minimum and within the same week. During inclement weather, please listen to WSTW, WJBR or WILM for cancellation notices, or call the studio. The school is not responsible for absences due to inclement weather, but will accommodate students making up as best we can. If make-ups cannot be utilized, there will not be a reduction in tuition. Students are encouraged to make up classes to ensure steady muscular development and memorization/listening skills. Repeated absences jeopardizes a student's progress and confidence and could result in dismissal. Visiting Days
Classes will be notified through our monthly newsletter for specific dates. Parents or guardians are welcome and may speak with the instructors with any questions regarding a student's progress at this time. Parent - Teacher Communication
All teachers are available to discuss your child's progress and goals. Just request to schedule a time convenient for both you and the teacher. Our teachers are also known for inviting parents in on occasions as the "audience." The teacher will make an announcement or send a memo for your information.
